MH and Kens adventure continues Finished the project at the house this morning and there was something else I was supossed to do today.. Oh yea, have to make it up to MH for the short ride yesterday. So about 10am, I gear up and head to Arkadelphia for some lunch. Then we said we were going to go west today, off to Mena we go on Hwy 8. Really good ride. Get to Mena, fuel up and MH says again Well we are already here, might as well run the Talimena trail. Last time we ran this it was in the clouds! Not a cage in sight, what a ride!! Even stopped for a photo at the Arkansas/Oklahoma boarder. 436 miles today, 220 yesterday, 420 on Saturday. 1076 miles for the 3 day weekend. Loved every mile! Coming back on Hwy 270 towards Hot Springs, MH says We need to do this everyday! I wish we could, but I havent won the lottery and that darn four letter word gets in the way (WORK). She then comes up with a brilliant idea. You need to meet an independently wealthy woman who wants to ride motorcycles everyday and have a beer at the end of the day! Im liking that plan, but hate to break it to MH, probably have better odds winning the lottery!!
