MICHAEL S. VAUGHAN BENEFIT Where do we begin? There are times in your life when this question applies and this is definitely one of those moments. The outpouring of love and generosity from this community has been both stunning and humbling. There are so many people who spent so much of their time on this, that at our own risk we will try to name as many as we can, Wood Campbell (Fuzzy Buddha), Wayne and Kim Carter, Dave and Suzy Feder, Joanie Teach, Jeff and Spring Loving (Whistle Stop), Scott (Pacman) Cockrell, Carolyn, Connie Dixon, Muriel Clarke, Wes and Kat Brooks, Suzanne Butters, Jo Gunthner, Beth Raines, and we do apologize ahead of time if we missed anybody. Thanks to all the bands who came out to play, including a satellite concert from Jack Snipes (aka Big Dick & the Extenders). Thanks to all the restaurants, individuals, and Jesse Woods CSHS cooking class that provided all that food. To all the businesses, family, and individuals who donated an absolutely amazing amount of items for the auction we would like to thank you. Thanks to the gang from FSU who made that long butt drive to spend the day with Mike, it was very special. The video link from Leah and Rainy, which we didn’t get a chance to play, was also very special. There are a couple of people we feel we need to say thanks to Charlotte Bordeaux who made such a generous donation and offers to help that it hurts our hearts, and Keys Kritters (Robbie & Isis) for all they collected and matched. To every individual that made any donation we would like to thank them. We would also like to thank Deb Bennett for getting the ball rolling; unfortunately Deb had to drop out due to personal reasons. And a very heartfelt thank you to those who showed up and those who were there in spirit it made Mike feel so special. If ever a kid needed that, it was him. If we heard it once, we have heard it 100 times, this was the most fun, best run charity event ever, which is quite a claim for this community. By the time this would be printed the benefit will have raised in excess of $32000.00. We will never be able to thank you enough, but we will try. God Bless, peace & love, Mike, Teresa, and Mike Vaughan
