MICROSOFT you are making very upset with your horrible service methods. Why would a company make you make a fake microsoft account to transfer unwanted material. ****Ranting** Microsoft: Dear Joe, My name is William; I am with the Xbox Customer Care Advocacy Team. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your request to switch your Xbox LIVE profile so that you can utilize your Microsoft Account ID with another profile. Fortunately, there happens to be a process in place for the function you would like to perform. Please utilize the process at the following link: “Can I switch my GamerTag to a different Microsoft account?” in order to perform this action: Please be aware that this is a voluntary process and there are wait periods involved, the account changes also have the following restrictions: You cannot change your Microsoft account within 30 days of the GamerTag creation You cannot change your Microsoft account within 30 days of the creation of the Microsoft account, for both the current Microsoft account and the new preferred Microsoft account. The new Microsoft account must not have been associated with any other GamerTag or billing account within the last 30 days. The profile must not have been recovered to a new device within the last 30 days. Every time your GamerTag is recovered to a new device, the 30 day time period starts anew. If the owner does not have access to or has forgotten the password for the Microsoft account they are trying to regain access to, the owner will need to submit their information directly to Microsoft Account Recovery Support to validate the account ownership in order to receive a password reset link: https://account.live/password/reset. Once again, thank you for contacting us regarding request to switch your Xbox LIVE profile so that you can utilize your Microsoft Account ID with another profile. I hope you understand that we value your loyalty to the Xbox LIVE service and we hope that you can continue to enjoy the unique Xbox LIVE experience. Me: Dear William, I know about the forum option listed in your previous email. That is ridiculous that Microsoft does not have another way to take care of this situation. The steps described are tedious and should not be considered an option for a company that strives on “loyalty”. I have been waiting quite a while and have been through two service request numbers. I know there is another way to get this done. Please reply or call my number you have on file.
