ASB Campaign Reps may be handing out candy. Please eat this at break, lunch or afterschool. • RACE Money: Please bring in your fundraiser money as soon as you collect it. Turn it in to your teacher or to the office so we can credit your parents account. • Attention all Middle School Science Fair winners: To prepare for the fair at Biola University we will be meeting this Friday March 21st at lunch in room #109. Bring your lunch. I will begin the meeting promptly at 11:55am so be sure that you are on time. See you there. Miss Jones • Girls 4 God: All members must attend. We have a special speaker this Thursday, 4/20. Jennifer Di Bacco was one of our Middle School Presidents. She will be graduating this year and has a great word of encouragement for you. • Flashback-Friday: Our Spring Event is April 4. We will be having an 80s themed night of watching a movie and going roller skating! Tickets will be on sale for $30 starting today at break and lunch. For more information contact Liz in the ASB office. • Chosen Generation: Please turn in your permission slips by Wednesday. Since we will be leaving on Friday, please make sure you check with your teachers regarding make up assignments. This Thursday we will have another guest speaker, and we will spend some time in prayer for the outreach. • Penny Drive: Next week we will have our annual Penny Drive for Spirit points. The containers will be in Mrs. Cross’s classroom. Collection will start Monday 3/24 to Friday 3/28. These funds will help buy supplies and food for the soup kitchen in Peru. • CCCS Piano Recital: Calvary Chapel Downey will be hosting a Piano Recital featuring our student pianists on Thursday, 4/10 in the Main Sanctuary. All those who play piano are encouraged to share your gifts. Applications must be submitted by April 1st in order to assure your name in the program. Visit Mr. Cuneo in the band room for information today! • Heart to Heart Convalescent Ministry: March 22 is our next outreach ministry. Please pick-up the permission slip from Mrs. Advincula if you are available to participate and turn it in no later than March 17. Our next meeting will be on Friday, March 21. FROM THE ATHLETIC OFFICE • Intramurals: Spring season is here! Practices are on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s from 3pm-4:30pm and run through April 3rd. • Boy’s intramural soccer has been cancelled today.
