>> MIDLAND The John Ben Shepperd Institute has scheduled JBS Fine Arts Leadership Revival at 7 p.m. July 12 at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center, 1310 N. FM 1788, Midland. The revival features two-time Grammy-winning music producer Jerome Leslie Harmon who goes by the name of “J-ROC” in the music business. Harmon, who grew up in Crane, is an R&B music producer working with Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and many of the top artists in that field. The family-friendly, spectacular show places the focus on the fine arts in education through leadership testimonials, panel discussion, music, vocalists, interpretive dance and oration. The event is free and open to the public. No reservations or tickets required.
