MIM: THE MINERALS MUSEUM IN BEIRUT --------------------- I am watching a fascinating episode of the LBC program "Kalam en-Nas" on the first Minerals Museum to open free of charge to the public next Saturday at the Jesuit St. Joseph University in Beirut. IT IS FASCINATING: 1,300 sqaure meetings hosting an ultra modern museum, technologically and with respect to the unique collection of minerals and precious stones it contains, some 200 million years old. It is the only one in the Middle East and has the BIGGEST VIRTUAL TABLE IN THE WORLD, designed and made in Lebanon. It is a marvel, a testimony to the greatness of and in Lebanon. I a proud to be Lebanese, living in Lebanon. This IS the true Lebanon.
