MIM campaign peaks on penultimate day of electioneering in Maharashtra The campaign of MIM, contesting for the first time in Maharashtra assembly polls, today peaked on the penultimate of electioneering with its chief participated in several poll related activities and party’s another star campaigner visited three constituencies. Majlis President Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a well attended meeting at Parbhani on Sunday night and asked voters to defeat the communal forces in Oct 15 polls. Earlier he held road shows in Nanded South during the day. Owaisi was received well by the enthusiastic supporters at several places. His junior sibling Akbar during a whirlwind tour of three assembly constituencies on Sunday addressed several meetings. The charismatic leader vowed to bring a political revolution and said the results of state assembly elections will shock many. He addressed election meetings at Govandi, Versova and Byculla constituencies. Monday is the last of poll campaign in poll bound Maharashtra and Haryana. MIM has fielded its candidates for 24 assembly seats in Maharashtra and hopes to do well especially in wake of the fact that the state is witnessing a multi cornered contest this time.
