.:~*~ MINIATURE BOOK REQUESTS~*~:. I have had many people ask me if I can take requests on the Miniature Books. I purchase the miniature books from a supplier and make them into charms myself, as I dont have the tools to make them myself and I am yet to find better quality miniature books elsewhere :) The supplier is happy to receive requests, and I often ask for new seriess for Retro Reader specifically. It is not always possible to meet a request, as it all depends on whether they can get a good clear image of the front, back and spine of the book. So once it has shrunk down, it doesnt lose its quality. I have been informed also that for one-off purchases of miniature books, there is an additional £2 start up fee for each individual book. This is because they are harder for the supplier to sell on and because of the time taken to find, edit and store the book cover... But once they have it, it is stored for future without this extra £2 cost. So if your are looking for something in particular that is not a series of books or the supplier doesnt already have it in stock, there will be an additional £2 charge to your order. So if you are wanting a necklace, they will be £6.50 instead of £4.50 and the book charms in the DIY Charm Bracelet Album will be £4 instead of £2. It can also take up to a few weeks to receive new miniature books, but my supplier does work as quickly as possible and will always let me know when theyll be ready. I hope this answers many peoples questions. If you have already put in a request for miniature book charms before this date (15/03/2014), please do not worry about the £2 start up fees.
