MINISTRIES/VOLUNTEER There are many opportunities available for you to get plugged in at The Connetion Fellowship; To Get Involved @ TCF fill out our Volunteer Application or call the church office at 423-581-4909. Audio/Visual Team Provides for the Audio and Visual needs on Sunday mornings, Wednesday Nights, and other events hosted at our facility. Baptism Ministry Contacts individuals interested in being Baptized and does follow up with individuals who have been baptized. Contacts individuals the week prior to baptism date to inform of all details they need to know. Sets up a meeting the Sunday morning that baptism is occurring with all candidates and the Pastor at 10:00. Sets up baptism pool and does cleanup after Baptism; Helps those individuals who have been baptized to get plugged into a Life Group. Building Maintenance Does any repairs and upkeep needed within the facility. Also helps to build any items necessary for our facility. Examples: Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, etc. If you do not have experience you can always assist in repairs. We just need individuals willing to help. Children’s Ministry Various teams work and pray hard to create a loving, safe environment where children can come to know Christ, love Him, and serve Him. It is our desire that the training they receive here will be taken with them throughout their lives. Ways to get involved: Set-up/cleanup, Resource team, Follow-up team, Check-in team, Tour Guides, Teacher, Assistant, Floater, and Security. Connection Café Provides coffee and refreshments, a warm smile and greeting at our café on Sunday mornings. These individuals come early to have the coffee and light refreshments prepared to give out prior to worship on Sunday mornings. Our vision is that this becomes a full coffee café when we move into a larger facility. Greeter Ministry Arrives at church on Sunday mornings by 9:30 to be able to greet regular attendees and help new comers feel loved, welcomed, and connected; Directs new comers to Connection Café, restrooms,Konnection Kidz area and staff. Introduce new comers to regular attendees in case the do not know anyone within the church; Needs to be individuals who love to meet new people. The Movement (Student Ministry) We want to teach our students that each and every one of us has a unique destiny that God has placed in our lives and that he has put us in this place for such a time as this! Our goal is to provide a fun, friendly and inviting atmosphere where we encourage you to be the best you, you can be! Hospitality Ministry Prepares and organizes meals for specific events that are related to the church. Publicity Creates and applies tactics to promote name, logo, and mission recognition of TCF. We can contact media outlets to help promote activities and events TCF engages in and sponsor. Our goal is to introduce the Morristown community to TCF and in doing so, create an understanding of what makes TCF real. Stewardship Ministry Oversees all financial aspects within the church; Oversees benevolence requests and budget setting for the church. Ushering Ministry Individuals collect the offering every Sunday. Individuals will handle any type of an emergency that presents itself during church service. Video Production Records Services for streaming purposes; Also make DVDs upon request. Individuals need to have a working knowledge of computers and a basic knowledge of video editing. Website/Media Team Updates information on church websites. Gathers information for the content to be added onto the websites, creates videos and other items to keep web site up to date.
