MIRACLE NIGHT - DANCEHALL GIRLZ!!! One of the beautiful aspects - TopicsExpress

MIRACLE NIGHT - DANCEHALL GIRLZ!!! One of the beautiful aspects about being a DanceHall Girl are the many opportunities to step out of your comfort zone, take a chance on yourself - and sometimes take a chance on somebody else. Last night after our warm up in DanceHall Girlz, our fearless leader Alisa K. called Miracle Night. Inspired by our friend Carol Reynolds many years ago, Miracle Night is a time when we are to hit the streets of Denver and go create a Miracle in someone elses life. Last night we had exactly one hour to do this. Our intention was allow spirit to guide us to a street performer and for us to show up, providing opportunity to support and allow them to share THEIR message with the world. As we hit the streets from the studio we elected to walk to 16th Street. The first miracle was actually getting through the thousands of people across 17th and literally through the Parade of Lights. Within part of our Miracle we chose to share some dollar bills in support of whoever spirit guided us to in inspiration for others walking the street to do the same. As I ran into a local store to break a bill, two of our DHG kept moving forward towards who would soon be, our Miracle. We found this woman and her son sitting along and set up along a building on 16th Street. He has his guitar out, she had her tambourines in her bag. I shared who we were, why we were there and watched her eyes light up with Magic. She asked one of the Girlz for a phrase, the phrase was Miracle Night, this talented woman and her son improved and rocked out a song called Miracle Light. How appropriate is that. After the first song we spent some time talking with her, actually listening... I asked her what her message was to the world. She said WAKE UP! I will post the video below as her personal journey and message was all recorded, as promised and fulfilling our intention - Our Miracle. This woman had complications giving birth to both of her children, had been estranged from her son for five years - and just reunited this year. She shared how she had been stranded in Denver from Detroit, how she affects the people downtown through her message, how two nights ago a man told her that if it wasnt for her being there, he would have committed suicide that night and how many people ask her why she is not on stage... Her response is that she has been on four stages in her life, and if God wanted her on a different stage rather than 16th Street in Downtown Denver - he would have put her there. This was a powerful night to not only create, but witness. Several of our Girlz had never experienced anything like creating a Miracle in less than an hour for someone you dont even know. It takes no money, really no set plan - just an intention, love in your heart and desire. There are MANY miracles within the miracles and this played true last night. I would like to ask ALL of our DanceHall Girlz to share their personal experience in a comment below and share what they felt the miracle was, within themselves. Last night hearts opened, creation happened and tears flowed. The gift of Unconditional Love is a Miracle all in itself. We will forever be part of our street performers lives and with that - I would like to introduce THE WORLD to our new friends Nyki Flyin and her incredible son Takwon Wilson! The stage is yours, take it...
