MISSION OPPORTUNITY * * * * * Aid for the Philippines * * * * * Here are several ways to help those caught in the midst of Typhoon Haiyan: Consider a donation through our church to the Presbyterian Disaster Fund. Make you check out to GCCP with Typhoon on the memo line or place cash in an envelope marked Typhoon. Place gift in the offering plate. Matthew 25 seeks personal care products, water, cleaning products, dry foods & peanut butter, baby and infant supplies, paper products (toilet paper & paper towels), first aid supplies and canned goods with pull-top lids. Donations may be brought to church and placed in the Matt. 25 container in the Narthex. They also seek financial gifts to help with shipping costs. Any check made out to GCCP with Matt 25 on the memo line will be forwarded. The Red Cross seeks support as well and can be reached at 1-800-REDCROSS or redcross.org
