*********MISSY UPDATE********* We would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to everybody who kindly donated towards the amazing Missy, the dog who survived a 30ft fall from a window. You may recall that she had to have a back leg amputated and one of her front legs needed a life-saving operation to enable her to walk again, so we desperately started fundraising to save her. She travelled to Fitzpatrick Referrals (the Supervet clinic from off the telly!) to have her fractured front leg fused, plated and they did a fantastic job of mending Missy and getting her back on her feet. She came back here to Happy Endings and Terry and Chris have been caring for her in their home, as she is on strict cage rest and we have to keep a really close eye on her wounds. She has adapted amazingly to only having three legs, and we are left trying to slow her down and allow her front leg to continue healing! She has been an amazing patient, she is such a loving, kind dog. She still has a few more weeks of rest but on the whole we hope that Missy is now on the road to recovery. It is inspiring to think that Missys recovery is only due to the kindness and generosity of people who have not even met her to see how special she truly is.
