MISUSE OF NAVAL HELICOPTER. USED TO FERRY JAITELYS WIFE AND DAUGHTER TO A WEDDING IN GOA. I think the Navy Chief would have been in on this. The present incumbent is known to be a smooth guy and as been cozying up to Jaitely by turning over one wing of the posh Naval Officers Mess at Kota House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi for the exclusive use of the former Defence Minister. Jaitely continued to hold on to it even after he ceased to be the Defence Minister. The spate of accidents involving naval ships has continued after Dhowan took over. In the eight months as CNS there have been eight accidents including the sinking of the INS Astravahini, a torpedo recovery vessel. His two immediate seniors paid for similar accidents with their jobs, which is how Dhowan got catapulted to become CNS. Incidentally Dhowan was the Vice Chief, supposed to be expediting purchase of stores and spares during which period the infamous submarine battery snafu took place. The misuse of a naval helicopter by Jaitelys wife and daughter is a serious violation of regulations, as despite Jaitelys position they are civilians.
