MLC School The MLC School Pre-Kinder program is designed as an introductory experience into formal school, while still combining the essential elements of early childhood philosophies. Pre-Kinder is open to girls in the year before Kindergarten, and parents may select a three or five day program. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our Pre-Kinder program is stimulating and innovative, capturing the joy of discovery. In our Pre-Kinder program, teachers focus on the development of communication, early numeracy and literacy skills, and the exploration of scientific concepts. The MLC School Pre-Kinder studio lends itself to a celebration of the process of learning through display and the documentation of thinking.
