MLK is arguably the premier Civil Rights leader in the African American community. Bronze statues have been cast of him, streets renamed in honor of him... and we have even recognized a National Holiday in his name. I am having difficulty understanding why the African American community in Ferguson, MO is resorting to riots, looting, violence, and destruction in the wake of Michael Browns shooting? Facts are meaningless.... it is likely that a group of Fergusons peers will find that the officer was justified in shooting Brown. Sad though it may be that it had to come to that. However, forensics and autopsy results seem to be pointing to that conclusion.... in addition to injuries sustained by the officer and blood evidence in the squad car. How a violent thief, has been elevated to sainthood while a police officer with a stellar record has been vilified as a racist is beyond comprehension. The world has traded in truth for lies... and we wonder why society is imploding.
