MMMM-Kay..... Just got off of customer service with Verizon after almost 45 minutes (thank you Skype)... If anyone is in New Jersey or New York and you suddenly have no phone service ...do not panic. It seems someone cut a major fiber cable that knocked out atleast 38 cell towers. I was concerned as I thought maybe the iPhone update did something bad to my ability to grab a signal. The technician told me that service will be out for atleast 24 hours in total. Feel free to pass this info on to anyone you think it pertains to.
