MOM ARRESTED FOR BATTERY WITH KOOL-AID Police in Fort Pierce, Florida, say they arrested a 60-year-old woman for battery with Kool-Aid. The TC Palm blog reports Yeteva McCollum allegedly started a verbal altercation with her 33-year-old son, which culminated with her throwing a glass of the drink at him on April 27. McCollum then called the cops on her son, claiming he hit her in the lip; she claimed because of her glaucoma, she couldnt see how the injury happened. After responding to her 911 call, McCollums son explained to the cops that his mother has a history of mixing things up -- other than Kool-Aid, that is -- and explained she calls the police frequently to try to get her family members in trouble. Her victim explained she likely ran into a bunk bed when she ran into her room after allegedly throwing the drink. McCollum was arrested on battery charges.
