MOMBASA WOMEN REP MISHI MBOKO; Nairobi - Mombasa women representative Mishi Mboko was ordered arrest by the government over hate speech claims. Mboko was ordered arrested by the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions DPP over an alleged speech made which had a tribal tone. According to a plea set in motion the Mombasa law courts, the DPPs office wanted Mboko to be arraigned in court over alleged remarks targeting two communities in the country. The DPPs office were told to ensure she appears in court. It is alleged that she incited Mombasa residents against two communities she described as putting the country in ransom. She is also alleged to have asked the crowd to start a revolution in the country against supposed injustices by the government. She is yet to comment over the charges, even though her supporters condemned the decision by the government to seek her out. This is victimization. She said the truth about the situation in the country. Why are other speaking similarly elsewhere and nothing has been done, one of her supporters said in Mombasa.
