MOMENT OF TRANSPARENCY: Tank has come a long way from where he started. At no point does anyone deserve to be mistreated by another in spite of something they may have done to receive it. It takes great courage, strength, faith, and humility to allow God to address someone, who has done another wrong. Hes so wise He can correct or punish them in love and use mercy in the process. It only gets worse for them if they refuse to accept His divine chastisement. Its said, A hard head makes for a soft ass, but God has grace and extends it to all. But, I digress because were encouraged and warned against receiving it in vain. He doesnt delight in punishing or correcting us in this specific context. Hes a Loving Father, and any parent, who gets pleasure out of punishing their child(ren), is abusive. On Tanks Stronger album, I hear and feel a growth. It epitomizes the scripture where Paul says, When I was a child, I spoke, played, and thought as one, but now, that I am FULLY grown, Ive put away those childish things, and to take it another further, when used in conjunction with, I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God, which is in Christ Jesus, we can begin to underdig, we have an extremely powerful statement of our purpose and position within both the heart and eyes of our Father. This only happens when we accept Gods Truth of who we are and what were capable of. Im done for now. I just wanted to share this with you, and I hope it helps someone.
