A message to you to thank our hero just a reminder how much we appreciate all you do : We wouldve died that day if not for you. We wouldve given up on life if not for your kind eyes. We wouldve used my teeth in fear if not for your gentle hands. We would have left this life believing that all humans dont care Believing there is no such thing as fur that isnt matted skin that isnt flea bitten good food and enough of it beds to sleep on someone to love us to show us we deserve love just because we exist. Your kind eyes, your loving smile, your gentle hands Your big heart saved all of us.. You saved us from the terror of the pound ,streets the yards and the wrong people that abused us. Soothing away the memories of our old life. You have taught us what it means to be loved. We have seen you do the same for other dogs like us out there to help other families and rescues that needed some support. We have heard you ask yourself in times of despair Why you do it When there is no more money, no more room, no more homes You open your heart a little bigger, stretch the money a little tighter Make just a little more room...to save one more like us. You reach out for help while some have to wait for a spot at your home. Not once have you gone against your word you always came back for us and never left us in the wrong hands while some waited. We tell you with the gratitude and love that shines our eyes In the best way We know how Reminding you why you go on trying. You are the reason The dogs before us are the reason of the ones who come after. Our lives wouldve been wasted, our love never given We would die if not for you . You are a Saint like no other not only for the animals , but the poor ,the nuns the sisters of Mother Teresa and all your patience as a Dentist... You have a heart like gold and if any bad ever arises in your life you will overcome any battle once for all the kindness you do for others... We all are privileged to be part of your family at Salvations Rescue. We any many other out there ARE HONORED TO SAY YOU ARE THE ONE WE WILL NEVER FORGET in our hearts.
