The State Chief Electoral Officer of Odisha is under obligation to ensure that free and fair elections are held and no rules are violated by any contestants or political parties. Given the fact that the EVMs of Mahakalpada were found in the residence of the BDO wonder why no action has been taken even after the news broke since today morning by her ! The BDO should have been immediately placed under suspension . The District Collector had falsely filed a report as per newspapers that all EVMs have arrived at his office and are in the strong room last evening! The District Collector who is the DEO should have been transferred pending an enquiry by the SEO as he had given a false report last evening ! The very fact that Kendrapada District is the only District where so many polling officials mysteriously disappeared on the day of polling inviting the NBWs should have alerted the SEO ! She should have verified this issue and the reasons behind issue of more than 100 NBWs in one district by her own independent team which never happened allowing the District election machinery to go ahead with the polls. All this points at a massive well planned conspiracy by the ruling BJD aided with generous dose of mines loot cash to sabotage polls in Mahakalapada to ensure that Bijay Mahapatra loses ! Complaints galore about poll violations by the ruling party has been filed both by the Congress and BJP yet she says it is being looked into. Not a single criminal complaint has been filed by the SEO against the President of the BJD which exposes her true role ! It is clear that she is protecting the ruling party and its efforts to subvert the polls ! Shame on such an SEO !
