Successful candidates will be responsible for building relationships and communicating with debtors in an effort to collect on their past bills Responsibilities: Communicate with customers by telephone to attempt to collect on severely past due accounts Offer excellent customer service, with an upbeat and personable approach, while staying focused on the goal Perform other duties as assigned by management Negotiate payments through collection efforts Requirements: Some college preferred At least 1 yr customer service, telemarketing, or COLLECTIONS experience in a fast paced call center preferred Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent computer skills with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM Interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships Effective organization skills and attention to detail and ability to focus Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment Money motivated and goal driven Ability to negotiate, close the deal and secure payment The CMI Group was founded in 1985 with the goal of providing exceptional receivable management solutions along with the highest level of customer satisfaction in the cable television industry.
