MOONDARRA ACCIDENT – WITNESSES SOUGHT On Saturday 10th August, 2013 at around 5.45pm a gold coloured Land Cruiser towing a tandem trailer loaded with firewood was travelling south on Moe-Walhalla Rd at the Tyers River Bridge, Moondarra, when it has run off the road ending up in the river. Fortunately the male driver was uninjured. Police believe that the occupants of a light blue 4WD station wagon with white Sunraysia wheels and a white GU Patrol Ute have stopped at the scene. Once they have found that the driver was uninjured they have left the scene prior to police arriving. The 4WD wagon was travelling south in Moe Walhalla Rd when the accident occurred. The GU Patrol had an aluminium tray with dogs in dog boxes at the rear and was travelling north towards Rawson at the time. Police are asking for the drivers/occupants of both vehicles to come forward to assist with their enquiries. Police ask either the occupants of these vehicles or anyone having knowledge of who the occupants are to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Senior Constable Scouller at Trafalgar Police on 5633 1188.
