MORE GREAT NEWS FOR DECATUR!! Governor Quinn, who truly believes every citizen of Illinois should have access to good affordable health care, came to Decatur last night to announce a 3 million dollar grant to CHIC (Community Health Improvement Center) to expand and build a new facility. The facility is much needed in Decatur because services there have doubled in the past year. The money came from the bipartisan 31 billion dollar capital bill which was passed in 2009. A big thanks to Chairman Merle Joseph Schrodt and all the folks down at CHIC for their commitment and job well done! Also thanks to our hard working legislators State Senator Andy Manar and Rep. Sue Scherer.
