Dog thieves steal dogs for their meat, skins or both. With over 500 skins found, this is the biggest shut down of skin traders thus far in the campaign to end the barbaric dog meat and skin trade. Officers from the Sakon Nakhon Department of Livestock Development (DLD) rushed in to examine and investigate all the skins in order that they can catalogue them as evidence. Through the billboard campaign funded by Soi Dog supporters, residents of Thailand who spot dog trafficking activity are asked to contact the 24 hour Watchdog Thailand Hotline.
