MORNING DEVOTION ROMANS 3:5 TO 8; But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of GOD, what shall we say? Is GOD unjust who inflicts wrath?(I speak as a man.) Certainly not! For then how will GOD judge the world? For if the truth of GOD has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? And why not say, Let us do evil that good may come?- as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just. The contrast seen in our sinfulness and GODS holiness is most striking by the Law and His Truth. His righteousness is as bright as the noon day sun, our unrighteousness is as dark as the deepest cavern. This displaying of the GOD with whom we have to do shuts our mouth, and all arguments cease in the one made to see the sinless Glory of our GOD. His right to be our Judge, Jury and Executioner is clear. The display in the regenerate, which is wholly by Grace through Faith, and brings us out from under the just judgment and wrath of GOD. This is often viewed as license by those who insist upon keeping the Law,which they trust in for their own righteousness. But GOD forbid that we glory in anything but the Cross of Christ. The Legalist who seeks to establish his own righteousness understands not the liberty the Believer has in Christ. His grace and beauty are seen in His dealings with His Justified ones in Christ. We are sinners outside of Christ always worthy of the wrath due our sins, but in Christ that is settled forever by virtue of His perfect righteousness imputed to us. Live any way we want because we are not under Law but under Grace? May it never be! Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? GOD forbids it! The straw man argument against the Believer who trust in a full and forever free Salvation, such as is unable to be lost, is chaff in the wind! True Grace in the soul producers an ever increasing Holiness and true Righteousness, and that by GOD the Holy Spirit. The condemnation of the one looking to him or herself is just, if we set aside the grace of GOD, or presume upon His mercy and goodness we will if His know His correction. Behold the goodness and severity of GOD! let it be ever a wonder to you Redeemed Soul! Read Galatians Chapter 5 to 6:5, Have a Blessed Day!
