MORNING TONIC. TOPIC: WITHOUT DEFECT. TEXT: LEVITICUS 3: 1 - 6. It can be fascinating T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ find D̶̲̥̅̊ perfect animanl at an agricultuaral show, true T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ its breed in size, weight, bone structure, temperature Ãήϑ any other standard necessary. But what human being can stand before its peers Ãήϑ be decleared without fault. Who decides how tall or what weight A̶̲̥̅ person should be. Fashion designers might want D̶̲̥̅̊ perfect figure but does everyone else agree what it Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇. It Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ easy T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ say someone Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ too tall, short, thin, fat, dark or fair. But how do we stand in Gods eyes, what Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ He looking at? How many of us say T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ God that our thinking Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ without defect, our work Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ perfect or our speech always delightful. Do we no plead T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ D̶̲̥̅̊ God of all grace ήºƭ T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ judge us by our imperfections nor our defects but by His gentle kindness? We may ήºƭ be D̶̲̥̅̊ peak of perfection. D̶̲̥̅̊ beauty of youth passes so easily Ãήϑ quickly that we must soon realize D̶̲̥̅̊ God whom we worship Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ D̶̲̥̅̊ only one without defect. It Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ God who Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ our loveliness, our strength, our beauty, our hope Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ pardon when we fall. Christssacrifice of Calvarys cross alone was without defect. So we can sigh with relief, we Ơ̴̴̴̴͡.̮Ơ̴̴̴͡ perfection at last. Christ Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ said T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ be our passover - sacrificed Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ us, 1 Cor. 5:7. He Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ D̶̲̥̅̊ Lamb of God Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ His innocence Ãήϑ harmlessness, His meekness, humility, Ãήϑ patience, Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ usefulness both Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ food Ãήϑ raiment, as well as Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ being fir Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ sacrice. He Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ D̶̲̥̅̊ Lamb without spot Ãήϑ blemish, either of original sin, or actual transgrssion; holy in nature, harmless in life. We Α̲̅я̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ celebrate His remembrance with D̶̲̥̅̊ unleavened bread of sincerity Ãήϑ trith. That Ȋ̝̊̅ƨ̣̇ A̶̲̥̅ foundation of our reasonable service. PRAYER: Holy Father, †̥ånkz-► Ÿ̲̣̣̣̥ø̲̣̣̥u̶̲̥̅̊ Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ Jesus our perfect example, our strength Ãήϑ hope Ƒό̲̣̣̣̥r̲̅ pardon.
