MORNING The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Media, Information and Publicity, Cde George Charamba has urged the government to urgently relocate over 500 families sitting along the Tokwe-Mukosi river bank, before the onset of the rainy season. Speaking after touring the Tokwe-Mukosi dam construction site in Chivi south, Cde Charamba also urged the government to set aside additional funds for the installation of a 15 megawatts hydro-power generator. Cde Charamba, who toured the dam together with Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) board members and the contractors, emphasised the need to construct a tarred access road and a bridge to connect an island on the dam, which can accommodate more than 200 families.
