Since Jesus has already victoriously passed through that kind of ordeal, we should consider it a privilege to share in his sufferings, not just a hardship. The truth of our commitment is often best shown to the skeptical when we are under fire. So lets keep our character when under attack and rejoice, because weve seen in Jesus what happens when Gods children are faithful even at the cost of their lives. PRAYER: What a precious name you have given to your son, O Lord. May it be exalted in all the earth and throughout all the heavens, until every heart knows that he is truly Lord. In Jesus name, and for his glory, I pray. Amen. ROLAND KLINE Psalm 122:1 KJV I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Insight Going to Gods house can be a chore or a delight. For the psalmist, it was a delight. As a pilgrim attending one of the three great religious festivals, he rejoiced to worship with Gods people in Gods house. Challenge We may find worship a chore if we have unconfessed sin or if our love for God has cooled. But if we are close to God and enjoy his presence, we will be eager to worship and praise him. Our attitude toward God will determine our view of worship.
