MOUNI BABA (HINDU SAINT) OF KOPARGAON (MAHARASHTRA) TO ========================================================= EMBRACE BUDDHISM BECAUSE HE DID NOT GET GOD IN HIS LIFE ========================================================= (Ref : Loknayak, Marathi Daily from Mumbai, p-1(Hd. news), dated 22/01/07) Kopargaon (Correspondent): Mouni Baba hails from Sonegaon, Kopargaon Tanuka, was solemnly involved in spiritual practices, worship, appeasement, meditation, Bhakti and what not for more than 4 year so as to meet or glimse of god, for he had quit talking such a long period. Earlier he was a staunch devotee of god Shankara for 15 years. In spite of all practices for more than 19 years, he could not meet god. As such, he has now confirmed that there is no god. His some Buddhist colleagues have enlighten with knowledge of Dhamma that there is no god, no soul or no anything supernatural in the world. Buddhas Dhamma live in mans world and not in (imaginary) gods world. Buddhas Dhamma pertains to Human life and his problem and to tackle the problems of individuals and other, by the method of love, wisdom, compassion, fraternity, harmony and justice. Dr. Ambedkar said, If we all as one-tenth enlighten as the Buddha was, we can bring about the same change with the method of love, justice, peace and goodwill. Mouni Baba said that, for understanding the truth, I had to spend whole life i.e. There is no god. As I was on constant research of truth, ultimately my searching road has linked to Buddhism. Buddhas Dhamma is convincingly honest. It doesnt say absurd about human life. Some Buddhists have organized a program. In the program Mouni Bana denounced blind beliefs of Hinduism i.e. Crossing road by a cat which already crossed the road, is bad omen, is madness. God never remain in stone, but in man and mans virtues. He further said that he is going to embrace Buddhism, because Buddhism teaches to be compassionate with human beings and animals. He appealed to treat women equal and assist them to be at par with men. As there is no god in stone(temples) that I have now understood the UNIVERSAL truth after spending more than 2 decade, the same is applicable to every saadhu, saint irrespective or religion on the earth. They should come out of pseudo life and lead realistic life by treading on the path of Dhamma. Ill lead my remaining life towards the propagation of Dhamma, I vow for. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chakradhar Hadkes Comment : Indeed, man has to spent whole life to know certain bitter truth, for the man has to be on constant chase towards research of truth of life. Yes, Mouni Baba was honestly rode on the searching truths path and ultimately his research has linked Buddhism. Since the truth (There is no god) is universal, everybody should quit believing god and with this his/her hard earned money will not be wasted on gods rites, rituals, and the most considerable thing - the cheating by priest, Brahmin, astrologers, agent of god, where he/she gets looted substantially without getting anything subsequently. His/her hard earned money can be used for his/her mandetary need ie. bread, clothes, house, education, health, electricity, water and surplus money on social and dhamma work - 5% to be spent on social/dhamma work as prescribed by Dr. Ambedkar. Virtuous are Happy: Buddha. You see Dhamma, you see me.: Buddha You are light of your won deeds, for nobody god, soul or anything supernatural will come to help you.: Buddha. Buddhas Dhamma is convincingly greatest ever, because it is for oppressor as well as for oppressee, whereas Marxism is only for oppresse.: Dr. Bhadant Anand Kausalyayan. Change of mind is the change of permanence, e.g. Ashoka the Great. Mental revolution is the complete revolution, though it is slow process. by Chakradhar Hadke
