MOZART, BALILI RIVER &WATWAT Wherever I may go, my Igorot DNA always gives me a world view I can never do without. As an Ibaloi young girl growing up in the mountains, the first nursery rhyme taught me by my teacher mama is Mozarts Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, a legacy piece by Salzburgs famous son and found its way to every nook and cranny of the world where freedom allows children to learn . Salzburgs Salzach river reminds me of Balili river although it doesnt smell and their local pork pata makes me think of our watwat during kanyaws. Its a small, connected world indeed.:)
