MPA Syed Jafar Shah conducted a detail visit of his constituency in upper Swat. During his visit, he along with Senator Amer Jeet Malhotra. GM, NHA, KP Mr. Samad Khan and hundreds of ANP workers inaugurated rehabilitation work of Kalam high way costing 480 million. First phase of the road upto Behrain is almost completed (Rs.1.7 billion). Work on this road and on the left side from Kanju to Madyan started in ANP Govt in. 2011-12. Mr. Shah also inaugurated construction work on mega water supply scheme Teerat Dara (Rs.10 million) & and village Buchakat (Rs.0.6 million). He handed over 200 KV Transformer for village Teerat. Work on link road & Water supply schemes in Akhoon Abad Madyan was inaugurated by him.Mr. Conducted meetings with GRC & PHYDO officials to get updates on the ongoing Daral Hydel Project (Rs.7.00 billion) at Behrain, which was inaugurated by Ameer Haider Hoti in 2012-13. Work in full swing. MPA held detail meeting with Resident Engineer NHA about the work on Madyan -Behrain highway. He also met local administration & discussed the law & order situation, specially during the upcoming Kalam Festival.Mr. Shah inspected the pace work on under construction bridges in his constituency. Work on most of these DFID supported bridges is in final stages while two new ones in Ramet & Gujar Gabral (Rs.16 million) will start soon.He visited the ongoing work on Koaro Shahgram road(Rs.10 million) started in 2011-12. & Middle schools Shagai & Dherai. During his visit he also inaugurated SRSP financed schemes costing millions in Teerat Dara, Ingerabad Madyan & Damana. He distributed certificates to Community Social mobilization Master Trainers trained by SRSP in Behrain. Along with officials from Higher Education Deptt. he launched admission campaign of Girls Degree College Madyan, approved by the then Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti in 2012. Classes will start in August this year. Besides all these, he met workers of ANP & common people and addressed corner meetings. He criticized the present Federal & Provincial Governments for their complete failures in fulfilling their promises to bring change as masses are totally disappointed with the poor performance of both the Govts. They made false promises during elections with the people but disperately failed due to lack of planning, mis management and experience. Load shedding, price hiking, lawlessness & non initiation of development projects in 15 months now. Billions of funds could not be used in first year due to poor performance of the regime. Waziristan IDPs are in miseries as no proper planning was made before launching operation , he maintained.He demanded both the heads of ruling parties to get themselves free from Dawras( tours) & Dharnas(sittings) & serve the people as per their promises.
