MR AHIABOR NARRATES HIS STORY........ Bright. I am a young man who does carpentry work for a living. I had an important contract in Kumasi I had to attend to. Whiles I was set to go, I tot it wise to use the opportunity to drop my 3 shoes that had problems with the shoemaker in my area. So when I return in a week’s time will pick them up. The shoes which were a football boot, the 2nd a very expensive designer shoe my younger brother from London bought me which was oversize and I wanted the size reduced. And the third shoe which I bought my self for special occasions and wanted it to be sown so it would not tear. There’s this shoe maker in my area whom I gave the foot wears for servicing and left for Kumasi. My return was delayed due to some extensions in the work so I returned in two months latter to find out that the shoemaker(cobbler) had placed a prior notice for all customers who had their shoes with him to come for it the week I left town.a week after the announcement he’ll throw the rest of the foot wears at the refuse dump since their items were making his place of work look untidy and dirty. Now this shoe maker is telling me almost all his customers came for their foot wears and he had to throw the rest away and he threw the last batch of shoes about two weeks ago. He bluntly refused to see reason with me or pay for the shoes. He doesn’t even see any reason to apologies since he feels the right thing was done not even talking of paying for my shoes. Ellis do I have a case taking him on?
