On behalf of the BOGs I offer my congratulations to the leadership of BA, the coaching staff players and supporters of BA. Congratulations also to all other teams who have competed tirelessly throughout the season. As we congratulate and celebrate excellence by recognizing the Champions, it is befitting for us to equally celebrate and congratulate the sacrifices made by all those families and partners who allowed their husbands, sons and friends to participate in this league while they could have enjoyed time together, said Mr. Doeseb. He noted that the 2013/14 season in particular has been exhilarating and intriguing, as spectators experienced some amazing and memorable performances which are testimony to the football talent that Namibia has in the various teams. lt will be amiss of me and my fellow BOG members not to thank and take our hats of for our sponsor MTC for their commitment, trust and dedication to keep the enthusiasm of Sports in general and football in particular alive. Apart from the sponsorship, MTC has been very generous with professional advice assistance and openness during this and previous seasons. The Namibian football loving public will forever be indebted to MTC for their overall commitment to Sport in general and football in particular. As league winners, Black Africa will receive the prize money of N$ 1 million. They will also receive their winners trophy at the official awards ceremony whose date will be announced in due course. In conclusion, Mr. Doeseb said he was hopeful that many corporates and individuals will unwaveringly sponsor and commit their time to work together with clubs and Leagues to provide a strategic direction to reposition and engender systematic efficiency in Namibian football. .
