MTN BURSARIES AND GRADUATE PROGRAMMME External Bursaries The MTN External Bursary initiative forms part of the MTN Youth Strategy to develop the South African economy, skill base and contribute to job creation. MTN offers a comprehensive bursary programme that provides support for talented students. The bursary covers tuition, registration, books, monthly allowance and accommodation. The bursaries are awarded to South African citizens who qualify for admission to a South Africa university to study a bachelor degree (NQF level 6) and who are not currently receiving a bursary or aid from an employer. The fields of study should be relevant to the MTN skills need at the time. (The field of study may vary from year-to-year.) Business Risk Management Minimum requirement: BTech Internal Auditing B Com Accounting. Finance Department Minimum requirement: B Com Finance. Business Optimization Department: Minimum requirements: BSC Computer Applications BSC Computer Science and Applied Mathematics B Com Accounting Science. Marketing Minimum requirements: National Diploma: Marketing BA/B COM Marketing. Information systems Minimum requirements: BSC B COM B Tech- Information Systems. Technology Minimum requirements National Diploma: Electrical Engineering (Light current) B Tech: Electrical Engineering B – engineering Electrical and Electronic/ Computer Engineering BSC Software development.
