MUL’LA & Mul’la-Isum! Readers Guidance: This not a personal vendetta!!! Few years back I came to know a fatwa by an Arab Islamic scholar. That “If a religious person takes payment for his religious services/duties, his actions are direct in conflict with the Prophets P.B.U.H sunnah and the Islamic belief” end one part of the fatwa. It is said that a group of people were settled in the prophet’s mosque and Hazrat Umar R.A.U.H (Chalif at the time) came by and acquired “Why are you people settled here in the mosque and doing nothing?” The said people replied “Oh! Umer R.A.U.H we are devoted to the religion and its publication”. Hazrat Umer R.A.U.H asked “How are you arranging your livelihoods?” People replied “We are “Mutawakaleen (Depending on Allah/Believing Allah will provide all that is needed)”, hence Allah sends us our needs (Food & Clothing)”. Hazrat Umer R.A.U.H replied “Nay! You are not “Mutawakaleen” you are “MutaSa-a’leen (People who beg to and by Allah name)” end of narration! (Book: As Sahabas) In another occasion. During prophets P.B.U.H time, a group of Sahabies was sent to a desert tribe near Medina. The Sahabies conveyed prophet’s teachings to the tribe. Since being superstitious the tribe was magic believers. On a day the tribe chef got bitten by a snake and since the Sahabies being pious in nature the chef came to the Sahabies. He requested if the Sahabies can put a spell to cure the snake bite. The leader of the Sahabies team thought and asked some goats as payment for the service. The chef agreed and the Sahabi read out Surah Fatiha’ and blessed the snake bitten area. After few days the chef got healthy and as agreed brought the goats to the Sahabies. The Sahabies hesitated to take the payment, since they had heard the prophet cursing the Jews. Since in time the Jew religious people the R’abais had sold their Torah and Zaboor aya’s and took payments for the service. On returning to Medina the Sahabies told the Prophet P.B.U.H the whole matter. The prophet P.B.U.H smiled and told the Sahabies to “Accept the payment as agreed and give his share of the goats to him” end of narration (Book: Sahih Bukhari). As I grasped the wisdom out of the narrated, there is a thin line between a Deed and a Service. For the Deed you do not ask or expect any worldly material in return. For the service you do expect something in return either be it cash or material. If any services/duties are done with the belief of a deed, ten folds in return here in the worldly life and seventy folds in the afterlife is promised by the creator Allah (A firm belief of near all Abrahamic Religions). Other theological religions also have concepts of Deeds. And some kind of a reward in their own way. Hence if a religious act is being done, its nature is judged by the performer’s (Niy-a’h/belief) actions. If it has been done for a price. Then it voids all blessings and returns here and the afterlife. Some people will debate (Because of current time settings) what will happen to a person’s livelihood, if he is performing a religious service and not accepting his service charge. History has answered this question in the actions of our Prophets and religious people. How they have lived their lives are an inspiration and should be followed not only just envied from a distance time. From Adam to Mohammad P.B.U.H all prophets have worked their livelihoods in trades of their own. Adam was a farmer and a weaver. NoH was a livestock trader and later a carpenter. Abrahim was a merchant trader. MosA was the most educated Prophet, he was a civil engineer. Issa was a carpenter and Mohammad P.B.U.H was a herder, merchant trader and a builder labor in his life. And the Hawaries and Sahabas (Prophets Companions/Friends) earned their livelihoods in trades of their own. All religious people have taken worldly trades for their livelihoods. Even the famous Asian saints have taken worldly livelihood for earning their bread. So when and why this conversion from doing a deed changed into performing a service with a price tag? Much was corrupted by the gradual deterioration of faith/belief in time. Different schools of thought played a center role in the formation of ideologies and thus theories of their own. In time from a scholar/imam rose an A’lem (A person with knowledge and wisdom of the religion and academic master of modern science). This was the golden era for all branches of modern science. This is was the time of 34 Muslim A’lems/scientists during 900 Ac till 1600 Ac. These people were not only religious scholars, they were also academic modern scientist in Physics, Math, Biology, Astrology, Chemistry and fathered new branches with discoveries that are still the basis of modern twentieth century scientific discoveries. And after the fall of Bagdad by the hands of Mangols a chain reaction started and each educational knowledge cities fell to their decay. Much was by the hands of its own people the Munafiqs/Traitors. The decay did not only poisoned the geopolitical system it also corrupted the socioeconomics, education, religion (Belief & Interpretation part), and generally it poisoned the difference of races from a one religion nation ‘MUSLIMS’. In the absence of centralized knowledge and thought Mecca. From these ashes arose new power houses fueling their own paradigm to the masses. All level of lives was renewed (Of course without a warranty. Since only unified belief or centralized authority has proven with a future warranty, proven in time). On the religion side Sufi-iets started to stray away themselves from Sharia schools of thoughts. Since Sufi-iets at some extent fulfill the desire of a human’s mind in the understanding the relationship of Allah and creation the humans. And Sharia being head on with desires was being alienated in lower Asian countries. Desire is the easiest corruptible human mind/thought part proven by science. Hence a new breed of religious point man was amended out from IMMAMAT/Scholar doctrines. What sprang out was a religious person with common knowledge of the religion and only knew what was taught by his madden doctrine school of thoughts. And followed his desired theology of his doctrine religion with ideological stern stance for other sects. So a MULLA was born! If we evaluate the inter sect extremism, we find the fueling injectors are theses Mullas. Mullas are different in sect theories and regional wise in the Muslim world. A Sunni Mulla in Turkey beliefs a matter in a manner that the Sunni Mulla in India or Pakistan will differ from him. An Arab Shaf-aie mulla will differ his understanding of his sect from a non-Arab Shaf-aie mulla from a different country. And the rest of the seven sect are the same except She-iati. Their understanding of their sect is centralized and non changing from different continents of the world. Pakistani mullas have been proven a different set minded from the rest of the Muslim world. They have their own understanding of their sects. Pakistan is the number one Islamic country in the world with the numbers of mosques. Hence the world’s largest populations of mullas are in Pakistan. Let us evaluate the common Pakistani MULLA (Found commonly around the country)! The best fair definition is: “A such person (Male 90%), who can generate a required religious theology with a proper service fee charge”. This can be easily evaluated in Pakistan by observing different channels religious programs. Since they generate TRPs at their holds. So many of these rentable MULLAS have hefty price tags. Some have been heard charging 50,000 Pak rupees per program. With such large numbers of mullas, religious deviation from basic Islamic believes is also number one in the Muslim world. Every few yards a different understanding is being preached. Since these preaching are being done as services (of course with service charge). Haven’t you observed, when ever donations are being gathered for a construction of a mosque. The mullas house is also getting a new residence flour. And to gain more and more money business is being developed even by changing the Quran teachings and Hadiths. The best money maker has been FEAR preaching, from other sects and last each other. By far these have been the most effective destruction makers in the Islamic world, even surpassing the Zionists at some level. Munafiqs are the number one threat to humanity specially munafiqs among us Muslims. Observer……
