MUSIC AND CAUSE Pete Seeger, called by Carl Sandberg the tuning - TopicsExpress

MUSIC AND CAUSE Pete Seeger, called by Carl Sandberg the tuning fork of America, has passed at 94. He outlived all the bastards- especially those who blacklisted him for decades from network television for his left wing activism. His most recent cause was the cleanup of the Hudson River, where he lived in upstate New York. He appeared with his banjo in Michael Korolenkos CHORDS OF FAME in Battery Park, NY, in view of the Statue of Liberty, ( produced for Britains ITV Channel 4, 1983) to sing part of the story of folksinger Phil Ochs.
