She married a businessman and lived in Bhopal. The author uses Binodini and Vikckyji to critique the middle class dream of starting a business and getting rich quickly. This greedy daughter files a case against her father to get her ‘hissa’.Chandralekha, the third born, eloped with an Estonian, just a day before her wedding. She falls for the “harami” Dylan SinghShekhawat, the son of her father’s best friend and who becomes a permanent member of the kot piece group after the death of Balkishen Bau.Debjani is the favourite daughter of the justice. The youngest of the lot,Eshwari plays basketball for the school team and studies are not her strong point. She is quite active in the co-curricular activities and is called Bihari by her classmates.
