MY DADS APRIL FOOLS JOKE - He taught this to us kids and people fell for it ! Using a sewing needle, sew a long, single strand of thread (preferrably of an obviously different color than what you are wearing) through the front of your shirt and leave approx. 2 or 3 inches showing. Just let it lay there! Leave the remaining, much longer piece on the underneath side of your shirt or inside the shirt pocket, with a knot tied at the end. Walk around all day with that bit of thread hanging out, laying on the front of your shirt like its a stray, loose piece. Sooner or later, someone will pick up the thread on your shirt, thinking they are doing you a favor by removing it, and when they pull it...it just keeps coming and coming!! The knot at the end prevents them from pulling the thread completely out, but they feel embarassed for having pulled out such a long piece of thread, hoping they didnt unravel your shirt! To re-set the prank for the next person, simply pull the thread back inside your shirt until only a few inches are showing again. HARMLESS FUN! :D
