MY DISAPPOINTING MORNING I went to the Vodafone office in town - TopicsExpress

MY DISAPPOINTING MORNING I went to the Vodafone office in town (Tamale) this morning around 9:40 to have my Blackberry handset configured so I could browse on it. I was in high spirit this morning, because I had a great time with my Lord during prayers (quiet time). I was in high spirit by all standards. My visit to the Vodafone office gave me a rude shock. The staff on duty performed their duties without purpose. Customers were all glued to their seats as if they were they to watch the staff perform duties assigned to them against their will. The staff went round their duties with very unapproved attitudes. One staff telling-off a customer and one just sitting on phone just chatting with someone on the other side. I was approached by a security lady who asked me how she could help me. Since when did security personnel join the customer service department of Vodafone? I told her my reason and she just pointed to a seat and turned away. After taking the seat and waiting for over thirteen minutes and watching the staff perform their against their wish duty, I went to the lady who had been chatting on phone from my time of entry and seated behind the counter to know what to do, she just without looking at me said it is not your turn, go and sit down (From the time I entered nobody had been served, so how could she tell me it was not my turn). Like a class one pupil ordered by my dreaded class one teacher I quickly took my seat again (I was very naughty in class one anyway. I guess that is why I dreaded my teacher). Anyway, after over twenty minutes a gentleman walked in. He alone, Im sure knows why he had to come to work today. He sat down purposefully and started executing his duties with seriousness. Thanks to him. I love the way he served everyone. I dont want to mention his name, but any of my good friends who works with Vodafone and reads this should contact me for is details. Vodafone your employees are digging a hole for your burial After leaving the Vodafone office I set off to go to the office to finish my work for the week. I got to a zebra crossing or pedestrian crossing mark. The drivers would not stop for pedestrians to cross. They just zoomed past like they didnt know what to do when they get to a zebra crossing mark. Any pedestrian who tried to cross got abused verbally by these indiscipline untrained drivers who got their licenses from the back doors. Then out of the blues came a herd of sheep, who were just close to the zebra crossing marks started crossing. With their appearance in the street the drivers then stopped for them to cross. I just couldnt believe that. Tamale drivers dont stop for pedestrians to cross the roads but rather stop for animals to cross. So next time you are in Tamale please just look for animals crossing the roads and you are guaranteed of crossing the road easily and faster. Whichever institution responsible for the training of drivers PLEASE come up here and do some refresher courses for our drivers. I rest my case. But trust me the Lord is in control. Enjoy the rest of the day. Thanks.
