MY FAMILY OF GUINEA PIGS: So my son came to me yesterday and mentioned that he wasnt feeling well. He has had a cough since our run in with the common cold a few weeks ago and has had pneumonia in the past, so when he started running fever, I knew that I would be calling the Dr. first thing this morning. For the first time he let me put the diffuser in his room and I began immediately diffusing Thieves ( Known for its anti-bacterial and ANTI-VIRAL properties) and Raventsara ( A natural decongestant). I re-loaded the diffuser this morning as we waited for his appointment. Upon our arrival, the Dr. asked the usual questions about symptoms, fever etc. Jake had not run a fever since last night. He swabbed for Strep immediately, but did not swab for the flu. When I asked him about this he replied quickly that Jake was not sick enough to have the flu and could go back to school tomorrow. Jake and I left his office and I ran into a couple of grocery stores while Jake waited in the car. As the hour moved on, however, the more I became convinced that I should have insisted on a flu test. Finally I called the office and asked if we could come back in so he could be tested. Lo and behold, he has the flu! Could it be that the Oils relieved some symptoms....could they have helped his body fight off the virus? All I can say is that our family WILL keep these two oils handy this winter!
