MY GIFT TO NIGERIA AND NIGERIANS ON THIS DAY A MUST - TopicsExpress

MY GIFT TO NIGERIA AND NIGERIANS ON THIS DAY A MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The concise Oxford English dictionary defined independent as ‘’free from outside control, not subject to another’s authority’’. If the above definition is the case of Nigeria then we are truly an independent nation, but again if there is a word like ‘’REDEPENDENT’’, then I think that is what Nigeria should seek for; the inner forces of control over our nation’s number one sit of authority and constituted sovereignty, dominance and power must let go of our progression. The site of the commander in chief of the armed forces must not be subject to any of their authority and intimidation. I respectfully, honestly and humbly wish to mourn rather than celebrate, I love my country but my country must first love me to attract the reciprocation. Plain truth often times hurts the guilty heart, but I care so little about the heart that will get hurt. The only way to drive home a point is to be tenaciously prepared to be faced with the offensive pressure of malice, hatred and sometimes spiritual/physical attacks. But if we chose not to talk, then the factors behind the ugliness that is rubbing off on our collective images, reputation, dignity and national interest. The issues about our woes and predicaments has been over flogged, let’s stop criticizing and describing; and start prescribing viable and implementable solutions that will sling us towards the positive direction. If you are a Nigerian, born and bred up here by your parents then you are just the perfect set of Nigerians needed to promote the wave of change expected to sweep Nigeria clean. We can do it, yes we can. Just you and I, you and I that have no means of travelling abroad if this land get messed up by them. We have no parents and relatives out there, so we must stand to protect this only land that we have, the one we feel comfortable in. This land that is bless for our sakes. We must not let it decay or turned into ruins, we must fight, fight! An intellectual fight, we must reach out and eat deep into the hearts of others like us in the society. Integrate them, orientate them and make intellectual soldiers out of them. We have the right to fight; we have the backing of the law. Thank God for the constitution, if not for God and the written constitution you and I will be in the mud’s toiling with empty stomach while your political polity and policy practitioners take their lunch in cozy restaurants and private guest houses. If you are not angered by that, then you are in some way connected to free flow of administrative finances, you are one of those enjoying the privileges of political and democratic dividends. I plead with every reader of this article and every leader in power at various levels of administration to put the entity called Nigeria first before self pedigree. Independent has led us somewhere, but where is that? I think you know the answer. Let us give immense support to the first entity of national administration that respects the index called ‘’change’’. Nigerians are becoming wise, their daily fate is teaching them a lot more than our dilapidation educational system. From the creative desk of IEW Ltd
