MY HEART TO YOURS Hello my friends, I have spent the day - TopicsExpress

MY HEART TO YOURS Hello my friends, I have spent the day working – yes, working. It helped my nerves to calm, and my spiritual eyes to clear. Last night I was up addressing something that had been bothering me for some time. As most of you know our group has supported Pastor Drichile Michael in his worthy efforts to finish a radio station to reach his people for Christ. I became acquainted with Brother Drichile and spent long hours chatting, talking on the phone, and even to his precious family via skype. I felt a kindred spirit with him even though we have never met in person. Often times I referred to him as my best friend. About a year ago I told my wife, Audrey, that if something were to happen to me, try to have Brother Drichile flown over to conduct my funeral as he sees fit. I agreed to partner with him to help reach his people (who I dearly love and still have a burden for) for Jesus Christ through Bible and Gospel Tract distribution. In addition, I wanted to help him finish a gospel radio station that had potential of reaching many in Uganda and South Sudan. For the past few months, however; I sensed something wasn’t right with my brother. I am not going into great detail, for it is not my intent to expose or cause him and his family hurt or harm. I found out that Brother Drichile has been receiving sizable amounts of funding to a bank account without telling anyone. I always sent it through Western Union because I was told he had no bank. It seems, though, he indeed does have a bank account set up to receive these ‘backdoor’ funds. There is nothing wrong for people to send Brother Dricile, or anyone they chose anything they want to, but when I confronted him about it, he immediately accused me of not trusting him. It was as though he turned into a different person all together. Anyway, I spoke with one of his ‘supporters’ and finally was told they had sent $700, $500, and $1000 in the last couple of weeks for a total of $2100 to his bank account. Friends, bear with me; I received a message from Pastor Drichile a couple of nights ago asking why I had not sent him money. He accused me of withholding money. He stated that his family had no food and in dire need. I asked him where the $1000 was and he said what ‘money’? So I proceeded to explain. Again he said I haven’t received any money. I then contacted the person who sent him the money (they are not at fault here that I know of), and inquired if indeed it was sent. At first I could not get a yes or no, but after much coaxing they provided me with photo copies of the receipts. I then went back to Brother Drichile and begin questioning him again and each time he would deny having received any money. I knew right away that my fears were true – he continued to lie and deny the account had received these funds and that I had caused his family much hardship. I then confronted him, almost begging him to tell the truth, and asked him why he would lie to the Holy Ghost, but he said he would not talk of this any longer and that he does not have the money. It was at that point I sent him the pictures of the receipts. All became quite for 30 – 40 minutes in which he did not respond. Finally, about 2:30 in the morning he wrote me back and said, “I did wrong, Pastor. Would you forgive me?” I thought the weight of the moon was upon my chest. A person who I considered my best friend, and partner in the ministry had set up a secret account, contacted individuals behind my back telling them not to tell Pastor Greg, and solicited funds from them (again, I have the transcripts). I’m sure there are those reading this that also has been contacted by him, too. There will be more brought to light I’m sure. Now, where does that leave us? 1) I don’t want to drag this out hindering the Spirit of God any longer. 2) I don’t want this to be a ‘gossip’ platform used by Satan to continue his evil. 3) I don’t want to speak of it again. The money you have given to the radio ministry is still in a Paypal account and he has no access to it. Most of that money was given by you dear folks for the sole purpose of finishing that work. Thank the Lord He showed me what was going on before I sent it to him. That leaves us with the question, “What do we do with it?” In the past I have helped several people in our group who were in dire need. We have also sent tracts and Bibles with money sent in by you. So we can use that fund for things of that nature, or, if you wish; you can contact me via a personal message and I will send your portion back to you. In closing, I ask you to remember Audrey, me, and all the members of our group in prayer. This is a difficult time, but difficult times determine the strength and character of a child of God. While this will leave a scar, the wound will heal, God will once again be uplifted, souls will be saved, and we will rejoice once more. I end with this, “I love all of you, including Pastor Drichile and his dear family. I hope one day he will finish that station and preach the Word too many lost souls. In the meantime, I am going to continue “praising, praying and proclaiming the Truth of God’s Word!” What about you? Are you with me?
