MY INDIA - LITTLE KNOWN FACTS The National Aquatic Animal Platanista gangetica, or the River Dolphin is the National Aquatic Animal of India. Popularly known as ‘Susuk’, they have a long pointed snout, a plump body with light grey-brown skin, and a steep forehead with small eyes.
