MY NAME IS ARCTIC. TO ADOPT ME, PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] I am a one year old boy Husky, who should never have been born into the tropical climate that is Thailand. I once had an owner - he bought me from a puppy farm and one year later, dumped me outside the Soi Dog shelter when his new girlfriend told him she didn’t like me. The people here are looking after me but I am longing for a new home in a colder country. I don’t belong here. As well as a forever home in a colder climate, I also need an owner who really understands my breed. I am very intelligent and can be trained, but only if you are stronger-minded than me! You will need patience and consistency, and you will need to understand my character. If you are not 100% firm and confident with me, I may become wilful and mischievous. I need you to be a consistent pack leader for me - I may take advantage if you are hesitant. I could be an excellent jogging companion, as my breed does like to run, but only if it is not too hot. We Huskies do like to howl and I may get easily bored. I won’t do very well if I am left alone for a long period of time, unless I get a great deal of exercise beforehand. Huskies like me can get destructive if we are lonely or if we don’t get enough mental and physical exercise. Remember, my breed is a working dog breed; you will need to give me a job. I will be the best companion ever for you, if you know what to expect from me and you are willing to give me the time and energy I need. Are you the one who can get me out of Thailand? Do you live in a colder climate, where I can be happy? Do you have the time and the commitment to dedicate yourself to my training and my wellbeing? I promise that if you show me the way, and you remain consistent with me, I will never let you down. If you can give me the home I am dreaming of, PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] bit.ly/adoptArctic
