MY PRINCESS’ LAST DAY AS A ONE YEAR OLD! My Dear Princess Anita, the first fruit of my strength, the Excellency of Dignity and Intellect, We mark your last day as a one-year old with profound gratitude to God and excitement for how much you have grown and how much you have been a blessing to your world. Your arrival on October 1st in 2012 ushered your mum and I into parenthood for the first time in our lives. It was (and still is) also a special way to begin the first day of the month of October – also your mum’s birth month as well as that of our wedding anniversary (and therefore birthed the “Tripleslam”). Your arrival also gave us a special way to begin the first day of the last quarter of the year. Surely, God crowned (and continues to crown) our year with Goodness…. Your special and unusual dance steps when we brought your brother home, as well as during his naming ceremony show how loving and accommodating you are, it also shows that you have no place in your heart for unhealthy sibling rivalry. There may be no more free infant flights for you (as you clock 2 tomorrow), but you are now entitled to greater flights of favour, success, honour, with special reserved seats in heavenly places. As you clock 2 tomorrow, your mum and I bless you from the bottom of our hearts. May God continually bless you, keep you, make His face to shine on you and continually smile on you, and may your path be as the shining light that shines brighter unto the perfect day Happy Birthday in Advance!
