MY SECRET LETTER TO Prince Olagunsoye OYINLOLA Dear Sir, I - TopicsExpress

MY SECRET LETTER TO Prince Olagunsoye OYINLOLA Dear Sir, I believe you ‘ll not agree less with me that it not only in the times of joy and merriment that those who truly loves you should always identify and sympathize with you but also in the times of sorrow, stress and anxieties such as the one you may be passing through in politics at the moment. Certainly but unfortunately too, you are not having the sailing in politics smooth any longer. The dark murky water of Nigeria politics is sinking you and sinking you fast. Like the legendary Bob Marley said ‘’Things are no longer the way they used to be…there’s a natural mystic blowing through the air”. Sympathy, yes sympathy is the last thing you need now, especially when everything but not nothing seems to be working for you again, when those whom you love doesn’t seem to love you any more. As one of your admirers, I have done a self imposed task of having to stopped, wondered and pondered on why the ugly side of politics has lately being your lots. I have reflected on the past and the present even mediated on the future and I discovered that a slip has occurred somewhere. I discovered that you may have lived too many lives of sins like the Late Jim Reeves said. I have a strong believe that whatever is happening to you now has a larger input of the Law of Karma. I say this on the backdrop of how you became the Governor of Osun State. Recall, you never bargained for it et all. You merely benefitted from the travails that that betided Omisore then. Omisore was then your best of friends. When the chips were down for Omisore and he was given the opportunity to nominate a replacement for himself he nominated you and supported you whole heartedly. Realising you were a complete greenhorn in politics and that you run the risk of falling into trouble along the line Omisore from his incarceration at the Agodi Prison gave you Gani Olaoluwa,a reputed grass root politician. Gani, the one you then refers to as Laolu did the impossible task of “selling” you to the electorates that knew little or nothing about you from Adams even against a political guru like Chief Bisi Akande who was the then sitting Governor you achieved a rare feat of defeating him in terrain of sophisticated politics that you are not familiar with. Today, where is Omisore’s name and where is the name of Gani Olaoluwa and a host of others too numerous to mention here in your book of reciprocation of good gesture? TO BE CONTINUED TOMORROW. Ayeniromo!!!
