They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony… Revelations 12:11 (NIV) For many, the past is something they would love to keep hidden away forever, so that no one can have a glimpse into the world they once lived. There are many reasons for why this is, which varies depending on who it is. It could be fear of embarrassment or judgment, not wanting to relive the trauma, etc. However, none of these reasons are valid,especially when you have overcome the adversity. First of all, sharing your experiences with others is a sign of true healing. Secondly, Scripture encourages you to do so. Your willingness to unleash your past has the ability bring comfort, healing, and liberty to someone else’s life. Dare not hold it hostage any longer. Give yourself permission to be a blabber mouth so that God can use your story of redemption to set others free!
