MY VENT: I dont normally comment, but this must be said.Rivalry Week! News 2 reported on a fight that broke out between rival high schools after a game yesterday, of course the Coffee County Bobcat story is running crazy too. But my point is too all those people commenting on Facebook, we, u, people, Americans, HUMANS, we are in a bad way. Where has reason and common sense gone? Out the damn window, thats where. In regards to the bobcat, the responsible party will have to deal with the TWRA, School, and probably parental punishment. That should get the point across. Should they be expelled, no. Should they be be hung next to the dead animal, no. Do they need a psych evaluation PETA?, no, theyre teens; last I checked, teens tend to screw up, um we all did. PETA, go hug a tree and the get lost. to all you saying things like that, SHUT UP & get a freaking life. As for the fight (and bobcat) those saying the parents are to blame, why should the kids not be to blame. They are old enough to know better. I assure you at that age my parents had thought me right from wrong, but guess what, NEWSFLASH I still screwed up and still did a lot of sh*t I wasnt supposed to. And when I did, my folks were not to blame, they didnt do it, they didnt make me do anything, I chose to do what I did. It is simple as this, let the guilt parties be punished accordingly. Stop blaming or holding everyone else responsible. The sins of a few should never affect the many. Dont cancel games because of a few idiots. Canceling the game will result in punishing the other players, cheerleaders, band members, color guards, families of these kids, the student body etc. This is what needs to happen: those responsible should be held accountable accordingly. Parents are not to blame, they didnt make their kid do it, if they did, then go after the parent. All you dim whited, non thinking, unreasonable, non common sense holding morons, SHUT UP! You make society, as a whole, look as if we are all stupid. I for one, am not.
