MYANMAR-NORWAY :ENHANCING RELATIONS ------------------------------------------- Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Norwegian Ambassador to Myanmar Ann Ollestad at Zeya thiri Beikman in Nay Pyi taw, yesterday. On the occasion, the Norwegian Ambassador said that Norway is eager to help Myanmars reform process and recognizing the role of Myanmar army for peace and reform processes of the country and conservation of natural resources. She also highlighted enhancing friendly relations between the armed forces of the two countries and investment of Norways telenor company in Myanmars telecommunication sector. The Senior General also expressed his appreciation for Norways constructive relations with Myanmar and explained the countrys foreign policy with international communities and role of the army in protecting the country from disintegration trigged by the conflicts.
